From the instant, Nikolai lays eyes on his bride to be he’s entranced and vows to protect her from any harm including that by her own father. He also can’t wait to corrupt and dirty her up and he’s delighted when they seem to fit so well.

Leone’s ability to create complex and multifaceted characters is commendable. Gabriel, with his brooding charisma, exudes a dangerous allure that is impossible to resist. The protagonist’s growth and inner strength make her a relatable and empowering heroine. The dynamics between the characters are electric, filled with tension and raw passion. This book has some of my favorite tropes: Age Gap, Arranged Marriage, Mafia, Alpha Male, and a few others. It is also a trademark Jenika Snow naughty book and has a lot of her spicy content that we all love. (You can find a list of these in her Content warnings.) but little does she know that her psycho husband was obsessed at first glance and was gonna treat her like his queen😫🦋💍 Amara knew her fate would always be marrying for the family but that did not make it easier. When the time finally came and a mafia boss was chosen for her, she was scared for what her life would be like. With Nicolai who was her fiance, and his horrific tales of murder and torture, she was convinced her life would be painful and humiliating. That is until she met her husband. A man as ruthless as he was pretty, and the only one she could see herself falling for. But there was no happy ending for her. Men like Nicolai didn't love their wives. She had only one purpose and that was to give him a family but that did not stop her from hoping for more. This had a bit of typical mafia characters like a young, very innocent heroine and the big bad intense mafia hero who was to be married to her. like I said, even though it was a type of book I have read many times, the intensity of the characters kept me hooked and I loved it a lot! The suspense was good and now I want the stories of the side characters, I hope we get them soon!

I bow down to you Jenika Snow for such a spicy and delicious story! We met Nikolai in Arlo's book and the glimpses we get of him lead the reader to believe he is going to be a crazy one. He does not disappoint. The man is a ruthless killer that holds onto his reputation and status with an iron fist. There are very few people he cares about and when he enters into an arranged marriage to bring two sides together, he sees it as a means to an end. Little does he know that when he sees his betrothed for the first time she becomes everything to him and he would do anything to keep her safe and ONLY his. I'm only disappointed at how short this was. Not just the book, but the entire story happens in a period of about 3 months. That's way too less for the amount of drama I was promised before reading. As soon as Nikolai makes the deal to marry Amara, he becomes invested. He sees her and wants her. So he does what any normal man does… he stalks her 👀 If you like easy mafia-arranged marriage stories but like the darkness to be because of the world rather than the romance itself then this is the one for you. Nikolai treats Amara like a princess unless it’s time to get their freak on then she’s his little doll.

Nikolai is a hard ass with a craving for blood. Seeing his new wife in her wedding dress covered in blood is his true paradise. He jealous possessive but not old world sexist. Amara is raised to be the perfect Italian Mafia daughter. Seen not heard. And when her dad sells her and her virginity to Nikolai for an alliance between the Nosa Costa and the Bratva she terrified. Until Nikolai shows her he wants to see her relish in her own right.

I am still very will to read any other books Ms. Snow writes in this universe. She lays the ground worl for another and I can't wait.

The dark, dirty talking alpha, the mafia danger, the panty melting chemistry, and a newly empowered heroine. Jenika always so perfectly marries the swoony and the smutty- and I gobbled this one right up! how OTT obsessed, JP, and PROTECTIVE Nikolai is👀! This man will do A👏🏻NY👏🏻THING for his woman 😍. This is true love right there 😭. Someone looks at her funny? Disrespects her? Gets too close to her? They better be ready to deal with the consequences 💅. It doesn’t matter if it’s family, friends, or a parent 🤷🏻‍♀️. He. Gives. No. F’s 💁🏻‍♀️. He’s gonna do whatever he needs to do to keep her safe and keep her as his My path was always clear: escape Las Vegas, move to New York, live happily ever after as a professional ballerina.

To solidify ties between the Bratva and Costa Nostra Amara Bianchi and Nikolai Petrox are to wed sight unseen. He’s a dark merciless killer whilst Amara is just eighteen and innocent. I also didn't feel much for the hero as he didn't seem to have much personality except for being 👏HORNY👏.I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the amazing Sasha Leone put all these amazing books in a box set since every last book is awesome so now everyone can have them in one place without any wait time. a proper ending. The ending was rushed! We get a sort-of epilogue after the end of the book, but it ends so abruptly (for me). Then we get a chapter for the next book. Like… 🤔 what happened?? 😭😭😭 where’s my proper HEA 😩. Where are the babies I want them to have? 😭 lol I’m sure it’s like this because we’re going to get Dmitry and Claudia’s book and we’ll see them there, but stillllll 😐😭
