Description

Shootas and Stabbas return and both are improved on their baseline warscroll. Shootas in particular now come with more range and hit on a 4+ with their bows, and get an extra shot for having 10 or more models. Stabbas have their shield baked in for a base 5+ save and have lost their wound bonus in exchange for a really exciting ability to contest objectives from 9” away instead of 6”. Roll 2 dice instead of 1 when making a brewing roll for this shroom. For each dice that is a 6, also reduce your volatility score by 1 (to a minimum of 0). Speaking of Goatmen, this is just that! A brand new HQ model to pair off with all those new rules! Battletome: Gloomspite Gitz The only issue with taking a pure Spiderfang army is that you are foregoing the ability to control the path of the Bad Moon through having Skragrott the Loonking as your general. And as mentioned, the Bad Moon has some real strong benefits for Spiderfang. Finally there’s Chasing the Moon which requires your general to survive the battle, potentially much easier than it used to be if they’re a Galetian Champion, and to have been affected by the Light of the Bad Moon in 3 battle rounds. Battle Tactics

There are two different Spell Lores available to Gitz, one for Moonclan wizards ( Lore of the Moonclans) and one for Spiderfang wizards ( Lore of the Spiderfang). More details in the specific section.Another major change comes to the Squigs! Traditionally, a Squig has a move characteristic that's completely reliant on dice rolls, but now those movement values have a set number in addition to a dice roll. So it's still random, but instead of a move of 3D6 (where you could pitifully roll a total move of 3) a unit will have a move value like D6+10. This update makes the Squigs much more reliable, while still harness their chaotic nature.

NOT as playing pieces, tessellated forms or 'toys' meant to be grasped. Even the smallest models form and generate their own highly particular world around them. The first thing that we notice is that the keyword bingo that made this army almost unplayable is gone. While each unit kept their keywords that represent certain specific traits within the Gitz culture, creating a cohesive but diverse army is completely possible. They also promised a ton of buffs in this battletome, so things are looking up for the goblins! Wolf Riders Are Now Snarlfang Riders! Once the greatest and noblest champion of Nagash, Ushoran was brought low by some cruel twist of fate, transfigured into a swollen goliath afflicted with an unquenchable thirst. It took the combined might of the other Mortarchs to subdue their cursed comrade and return him to their master. As with all recent Warhammer Age of Sigmar battletomes, Games Workshop aims to have a variety of available army builds within the same faction. As expected, Gloomspite Gitz get their own faction specific Endless Spells and they all reference the themes of the Bad Moon, mushrooms and now spiders with the inclusion of the Spiderfang. They are called the Malevolent Moon, Mork’s Mighty Mushroom, Spider Swarm and Scrapskuttle’s Arachnacauldron. The cauldron supports your wizards’ casting while doing damage to nearby enemy units. No more details at this stage, but you can expect the usual mix of damage dealing and support spells.
